Sea Chest #92 is a beautiful, medium size wood and metal Dome top Sea Chest/Pirate Chest made of a oak slats, metal cladding in a golden brass hatch pattern, and sturdy leather handles. Perfect Nautical Table to hold files, china, silverware, office accessories or even your Pirated Treasure!

These pirate chests/treasure chests are the exact type used by Buccaneers, Privateers and Pirates to store their treasure and booty! Typically when a Privateer or Pirate attacked and took over a galleon or merchantman transporting gold, silver, other treasures as well as passengers they threw out all of the garments/clothes and filled them with the items they wished to steal and then hauled the filled chests over to the pirate ship. Unfortunately afterwards the pirates normally sunk the merchant ship if it was unfit for sailing, and killed both crew and passengers! While you may see sea chests like this in the movie "Master and Commander", or as a pirates treasure chests in "The Pirates of the Caribbean", they are not movie props but the real thing!
