US Navy Silverplated Teaspoon, Dinner Pick, and Meat Server by Wilcox Silverplate Co, Threaded Oval Pattern with Stylized USN Monogram was also used and found on US Navy China in the late 1800's.

The Threaded Oval Pattern was used extensively from the Late 1850's through the Late 1890's by virtually every manufacturer. Since the hallmark of the spoon is stamped Wilcox Silverplate Co and the hallmark on the pick is "WSP Co" the date for this pattern can range from the late 1867 through the 1890's. Additionally, this stylized "USN" monogram was very popular and widely used by the US Navy during the Civil War years and up to the 1880s.

The fact that the "pick" utensil of this Stylized USN silverplate was discovered indicates that this pattern was used on a much larger and more complete set of flatware. Quite possibly and most likely this was part of a matching china dinnerware set using the stylized monogram "USN" which there are mutliple pieces of.
