Large Size All Wood Flat Top Antique Trunk - Beautifully Restored Inside and Out in with Natural 100 Year Old Patina on the Pine Body with a Darker Contrasting Stain on the Oak Straps. Sheet Metal restored in a Translucent Black with Hardware Finished in an Antique Gold with a Greenish Tint for Contrasting. Exterior was Originally Covered in Canvas and the Interior Covered in Paper, Both Were Removed, Wood Scrubbed, Sanded, Stained and Two Coats of Satin Spar Varnish Applied. All Hardware Slat Clamps, Front Latches and Lock were Rub Applied with a Dark Gold Finish and the Hand Rubbed with a Black Oak Stain for Contrast.
