Unique All Wood Flat Top Trunk with Great Hardware with Previous Owners Initials, Initial "B" in Cast Iron! Originally covered in canvas on the exterior and paper on the interior which when removed with a cleaning solution revealed the beautiful patina of 100+ year old wood! The outside heavy duty hardware was lightly sanded but still retaining much of the original patina. Both the interior and exterior were lightly sanded with two coats of Spar Varnish was applied for UV protection, wood preservation and hard surface sealer.
The two heavy duty front lid latches are in perfect condition with built-in lid lifts! Lid reinforcing guides are located on all 3 sides and are an integral part of the cast iron handles which have the initial "B" with new leather handles. Working Lock AND Key.
