The hardware securing clamps are all heavy duty, beautifully intricate tin filigree floral sheet metal design, original black canvas remnants on front, top and rear left in place and preserved. Original 4 Small Wheels on the Bottom. The fantastic victorian lithographs on the cover of the liftout tray and under the lid have been professionally sealed. The original leather handles are still usuable and still retain that unique molded grip showing that extra attention to detail when it was first made.
Original written ownership on bottom of the trunk in 19th century style script, and a handwritten note transferring owership taped to the inside of the liftout tray cover and dated 1947! If you are looking for a truly unique all original and well preserved small size antique trunk over 130 years old which could be used for jewelry, stationary or other personal articles then this is it!

Fully restored and preserved roll top antique trunk with hardware oxidized in a rich chocolate brown, intricate floral design to the pressed tin on front top and rear. Original 4 small wheels on the bottom. Original leather handles, original liftout tray, and two beautifully detailed Victorian lithographs! Canvas on the sides was removed to reveal the beautiful pine body, while the oak slats were lightly sanded.
