Also known as a "Salesman Sampler" this antique trunk would fit perfectly on a Desk, Table, Shelf or Dresser as a Jewelry or Document Box. Both the exterior and the interior were covered with a thin paper which when removed revealed the beautiful 100+ year old cured pine wood. The entire trunk was scubbed, dried and lightly sanded with a coat of spar varnish applied. Has the Original "star" end caps with new handles, original lift out tray, the fantastic Victorian Lithograph Design was saved and found on the inside lid. Working Lock and Key. |
