Beautiful in its simplicity with Anchor and Cherry Blossom Insignia and raised lines eminating outward from the center to the blue glazed edge possibling resembling the Rising Sun of Japan! Very fine china most likely used for Senior Officers Mess to hold condiments, dry spices and sauces such as Soy Sauce, Chilis, etc etc
