RARE, One of a Kind!! Imperial Japanese Naval Academy at Nagasaki, a Demitasse Cup or Dessert Coffee Cup with IJN Fouled Anchor and Academy Marking instead of the Cherry Blossom.

There is a small chip on the rear lip of the cup but it does not deter from the beauty and certainly the historical significance. This is a "vet bring back" and was found by a U.S. Veteran in Nagasaki within Days After the Japanese Surrender. The Veteran's Mission Was to Assist the Local Population and Assess the Damage Done by the second Atomic Bomb!

WWII Imperial Japanese Naval Academy Demitasse Coffee Cup
IJN Fouled Anchor and Naval Academy Insignia instead of the Cherry Blossom. A "vet bring back"!! This is only one of two cups found by a U.S veteran in Nagasaki within just days after the Atomic Bomb dropped on Nagasaki and the Japanese Surrender. The veteran was responsible for assisting the civilian population and assessing the damage done by the atomic bomb. Perfect Condition. The beauty and certainly the historical significance of this piece is unsurpassed!
