Rare Communist Chinese Dalian Naval Academy (Peoples Liberation Army Navy PLAN) Enamelware Mess Plate Backstamp Dated: 1986. The PLA-N is the Naval Military Arm of the Peoples Republic of China (PRC)


Dalian is a major city and seaport in the south of Liaoning province, Northeast China. It faces Shandong to the south, the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the west and south. Holding sub-provincial administrative status, Dalian is the southernmost city of Northeast China and China's northernmost warm water port. This Naval Academy is considered to be a world class higher learning institution and the equivalent of the US Navy's Naval Academy located in Annapolis, MD.
