US Navy Silverplate 5" Mustard Spoon or Condiment Spoon (small ladle) by Wm A Rogers or William A Rogers (Horseshoe Brand) in Grenoble Pattern with engraved USN Monogram and dated April 17 1906, and came in full robust sets of flatware, general serving pieces, fish serving pieces, and meat carving sets. This Grenoble Pattern was also marketed as the Japanese Lily Pattern and was guaranteed for 20 years!

This mustard spoon and pattern was definitely purchased by the Navy for use in a senior officer's wardroom or stateroom for entertaining and fine dining purposes. This condiment spoon and pattern was not used for your general wardroom officers.

Apr.17 06" then "Wm A Rogers" then the "horseshow" followed by "SXR". This set of silverplate was certainly purchased for a senior Naval Officer and was used for fine dining and entertainment purposes and not used in the general wardroom mess.  Not For Sale
