Photo to the left shows the ca 1965-1989 Coast Guard China pattern of a rich burgandy stripe between two green stripes with a crisp burgandy USCG Coast Guard Insignia. Also shown in the second photograph is USCG Silverplated Flatware. Before and during WW2 the US Coast Guard used plain white Coast Guard China with a blue insiginia (or topmark) which consited of crossed fluked Anchors and a Shield centered over the anchors. Then right after WW2 through the 50's and early 60's the Coast Guard changed the china pattern to 2 light green rings, 1 burnt orange ring and a burnt orange insignia.

USCG US Coast Guard China was used for both everyday dining as well as the more formal "dining-in" ceremonies by Senior Naval Officers and dignitaries! It is an elegantly handsome vintage china and incredibly unique as part of our American Military heritage. Best of all it can be used everyday and is the perfect promotion gift or retirement gift for any active or retired member of our U.S. Coast Guard!
Best of all it is available for sale now ... and it can be yours just by contacting The Pirate's Lair!
Of Special Note: This 40+ year old vintage USCG Coast Guard china tableware was hand crafted, hand glazed, hand dipped, hand stenciled, and they just don't make it like they used to!
Unfortunately, the US Coast Guard discontinued this time honored tradition of issuing this beautiful vintage china in the mid-1960's after the manufacturer's supplies ran out, and it was never replaced. This further makes Coast Guard china a great investment! Currently only small quantities of this fine china can be found. The Pirate's Lair scours the world to obtain the best pieces to be found and makes them available to you.
Ironically, today individual Coast Guard Officers and Commanders now purchase this vintage USCG china from The Pirate's Lair for use in their present-day wardrooms and formal dining-in's! Coast Guard Officers can now use and enjoy the same Coast Guard dinnerware and Coast Guard silverware used by their bretheren of long ago!
