Standard Issue Navy Milk Jug and Milk Bucket ca late 1800's to early 1900's used for hauling raw fresh milk from the dairy farm to the ships by the Navy's enlisted ranks from seaman, petty officer to chief petty officer aboard ship and shore mess decks and galleys. The typical enlisted ladles consisted of graniteware, enamelware, aluminum and stainless steel used for breakfast, lunch and dinner for milk, water and the infamous bug juice.
