Standard Issue Navy Granitware, also known as enamelware, speckleware, from late 1800's to early 1950's used in the galley and enlisted mess decks by the Navy's enlisted ranks from seaman, petty officer to chief petty officer aboard ship and shore mess decks and galleys. The typical enlisted ladles consisted of graniteware, enamelware, aluminum and stainless steel used for breakfast, lunch and dinner for milk, water and the infamous bug juice.
