Note that most of these enamelware plates, cups and bowls made for the US Navy ca 1880s-1900's are not bottom marked as to manufacturer. However most recently we were able to obtain a US Navy enamelware bowl which was backmarked "L&G Mfr Co".
This was the late 19th century trademark used by the "Lalance & Grosjean Manufacturing Company" which was famouse for its enamelware and kitchen items going back to the days of the Civil War.
