The photo to the left shows approximately a 50 year span and 2 patterns of USMC Marine Corps China and Dinnerware. In many cases you can approximate a piece by the "Semper Fidelis" Banner on the USMC EGA Insignia. Prior to 1954 the EGA was "double bannered" with Semper on the left banner and Fidelis on the right banner. In 1954 the Marine Corps slightly changed its EGA to a single banner whereas "Semper Fidelis" was in one banner.
